3D Digital

Misc. Model samples

Assorted models made as personal technical exercises, produced for friends, or otherwise slightly less notable examples, for example, projects cancelled before completion. I am a sucker for making models for friends when they ask, and given raw sculpture is the area of work I enjoy most, I have no objections to spending a few hours making a character model and giving it to people to then texture themselves. I also use these opportunities to practice using max's features such as exporting to texture to produce normal maps, in the example of the pistol below, or assigning particle effects, for a steam engines' running gear and boiler - techniques that I will inevitably use elsewhere.
